Swingers
Our 'Swingers' initiative is a platform for sharing knowledge, skills and inspiration of local activities from different fields. It is an experimental project whose axis is to combine, to mix what Pomelo has to offer with other venues to achieve a new quality or to organise an interesting event.
Initially, due to the epidemiological situation, our activities existed partly in the form of videos and events - Livestreams on the Pomelo Bistro Facebook fanpage.

So far, we have invited places such as:

Studio 57 - together with the artist and photographer Agnieszka Piasecka, we made analog prints using the anthotype method using our leaven and beetroot juice, which has photosensitive properties.

Drukarnia cafe - in cooperation with Jakub Kozian, head barista of the specialty coffee cafe, we created baked goods for this occasion with our home-made preserves, which we served together with coffee made from beans selected by him. We conducted alternative methods of brewing coffee and a discussion on topics related to specialty coffee, the ethics of coffee cultivation and the awareness of Polish coffee lovers during the livestream, and our set was available in two locations: in Pomelo and at Mariacka, in the Drukarnia.

Straight Outta Street - tattoo studio on Ogarna, just like us, a member of the "Ogarnia siÄ™" collective. The event was a live painting event. Krik Kong, street artist and tattoo artist, created his work on site (livestream)
U Szkota Gdańsk - using our homemade liqueur and the bartending skills of the U Szkota team, we created 2 cocktails (1 non-alcoholic), which will remain on our menu.

Omnom Gdańsk - 107 Gdańsk - Faloviec - we test home-made products and exchange them to create new dishes, combine flavors and strengths.
